Analytical Study on Conditions for Access of Goods from the Kyrgyz Republic to the Customs UnionUSAID's Regional Trade Liberalization and Customs Project conducted a study on Non-Tariff Measures of the Customs Union. The purpose of this study was to analyze the conditions for the access of goods from the Kyrgyz Republic to the CU customs territory in part of overcoming technical and sanitary barriers, as well as to determine specific challenges and readiness of public bodies and private sector to meet these conditions. The results of the study were presented at a roundtable on May 24 at the Ministry of Economic Regulation of KR.
The study "On conditions for the access of goods from the Kyrgyz Republic to the customs territory of the Customs Union regarding technical regulation and application of sanitary, veterinary and sanitary and phytosanitary measures" is available in Russian and English languages, as well as a brief summary and appendices 1 and 2 to the report are available in Russian.
