The Russian edition of “The Law and Policy of WTO” by Peter Van den Bossche was presented in Astana  This textbook is one of the best textbooks in the world devoted to the WTO Law, and was for the first time translated into Russian with the support of the USAID's Regional Trade Liberalization and Customs Project in Central Asia. The textbook tells about basic principles of international trading system and explains institutional aspects of the WTO and related legal issues.

[more] June 16, 2011 | Transport Officials Noted the Effectiveness of Consultation Training On Implementation of Current FIDIC Contracts On April 25-26, RTLC, together with the Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communication (MTC), conducted training on the implementation of FIDIC contracts within Kazakh legal framework for the ministry officials and preformed consultations as regards contract execution. Instructor's consultations, development of recommendations on implementation of existing FIDIC contracts and execution of new ones, possible amendments to the legislation of the RK, in particular those aimed at the regulation of customer, engineer and contractor relations were the key training elements.
