RTLC Activities RTLC will work with countries to: Simplify documentary requirements for import, export and transit Improve compliance with international conventions for transit traffic Accelerate the clearance of imports and exports at border crossing points Improve national and regional dialogue on trade facilitation among carriers, freight forwarders, customs agencies, traders, and government agencies Strengthen regional networks of freight forwarders Conduct training events and support regional forums to disseminate information on transport logistics and transit facilitation
Expected Output Reduced transit costs and increased predictability of transit and transportation systems Reduced waiting time at border crossing points More streamlined and harmonized transit rules and charges More effective cooperation between countries on transit and transport issues
