12 Round – A Verbal Duel on the Urgency of Joining the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus by Kyrgyzstan12 Round (in Russian)
Jumakadyr Akeneev, Honored Economist of the Kyrgyz Republic, a supporter of Kyrgyzstan's early entry into the Customs Union, and Azamat Usubaliev, an economist, opponent of Kyrgyzstan's short- and mid-term accession to the Customs Union, defend their points of view focusing on Kyrgyzstan's relations with major trading partners after the establishment of the CU, the prospects for membership in the CU, as well as the pros and cons of the CU to the national economy. Participants are supported by their associates: Erkin Amangulov, a lawyer, and Umida Khaknazar, a WTO Expert of USAID RTLC project, respectively. Language: Russian.
